My Story
I am a professional artist that has had a passion for drawing and painting ever since I was a child. Although not formally trained in the arts I have been accepted into many fine art shows throughout the country and have won numerous awards. I am proficient in many different mediums ranging from pen & ink watercolor, charcoal, acrylic and oil.
I get my inspirations from the great illustrators in American history such as Howard Pyle, Frank Schoonover, and N.C. Wyeth. In my opinion, these men among others of the Brandywine school have created some of the greatest and most emotionally moving art over the past two centuries.
Being able to tell a story through my art is very important to me and I enjoy using my imagination to bring a character or event to life. It is my hope that I can continue to recreate past events in such a way that it takes the viewer to a particular moment in time, just as the works of Wyeth, Schoonover, and Pyle have done for me.
